People
James Allison - Executive Producer and Manager
James oversees most of the projects that come through the studio and works with people to help them achieve the best possible results for their projects. He is active in music production, video production, and video game audio production. James also performs in“The Town Monster” and “Blastronauts.”
Tony Stewart - Executive Producer and Engineer
Tony is primarily focused on music production, audio engineering, and audio post production at Electraplay. He started the company in 2003 and has been writing and recording music for over 25 years. Tony is also an experienced voice actor.
Nathan Photos - Music and Video Production
Nathan is a prolific Columbus songwriter, and writes hundreds of songs every year that are used by various artists, bands and companies. On top of experience as a live sound engineer, Nathan also assists in video production in videography, post-production and animation. Nathan also performs in “The Town Monster.”
Brad Wilson - Sales and Marketing
Brad is actively involved in the local music scene as a prominent bassist and beats producer. When he isn’t gigging, he’s helping out Electraplay by coordinating some of our and our client’s marketing efforts.
Jacob Halpern - Graphic Design
Splitting time between Columbus and Boston, Jacob is on the cutting edge of graphic design, most recently working with The Boston Globe. His flyers are well known in the Boston area, and he also performs with “Blastronauts” and “Action Verbs.”
Jason Sidwell - Graphic Design and Video Production
Jason has been working in graphic design for over 10 years and can frequently have flyers seen around town. Jason’s technique is bolstered by his hand drawing ability and a limitless creative mindset. He’s also an active musician and assists with video production and motion graphics.
Larisa Mai Tran - Artist Relations
Larisa is the social director for the studio, essentially keeping everyone in line during long tracking and mixing sessions.
Matt Whitslar - Technology and Technical Operations
Matt is Electraplay’s resident technician and helps us stay ahead of the curve in advancing the studio’s technology and capabilities. He is currently pursuing an electrical engineering degree at The Ohio State University and plays drums in the band, “Blastronauts.”
Tim Race - Music and Audio Production
Tim has been actively involved in the Athens music scene for the past 4 years and graced stages in bands such as Russenorsk and Manor Animals. He recently graduated from Ohio University with a music & audio production degree. Tim has written and recorded music for Ohio University’s TV commercials and produced music and sound effects for Microsoft software products.
Michelle Stewart - Finance
Michelle is the financial director of electraplay whilst also serving as the Chief Marketing Officer for Pakra, LLC.
